M. James C. Crabbe, President of IETI and Wolfson College of Oxford University, UK
Professor M. James C. Crabbe, the President of IETI, is renowned for his interdisciplinary research and global collaborations, which have greatly influenced the fields of life and environmental sciences. He is a Supernumerary Fellow and former Governing Body Fellow at Wolfson College, Oxford University. As an Emeritus Professor, he previously served as Professor of Protein Biochemistry and Head of School at the University of Reading, as well as Executive Dean of Creative Arts, Technologies & Science and Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Bedfordshire.
Professor Crabbe's work has consistently emphasized the importance of international cooperation in tackling some of the most pressing global environmental issues, including marine conservation, coral reef preservation, and climate change. His leadership extends beyond academic institutions; he has been a Fellow and former Vice-President and Council Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology, and his research in the maritime environment has influenced international conservation efforts. Currently, he serves as Senior Advisor to the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and holds honorary and visiting professorships at several prestigious Chinese universities. His recent appointment as a member of the Deep Sea Mining network of the U.K. Government’s Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs underscores his global influence in shaping policies that address marine and environmental conservation challenges.



Wen-Pei Sung, Lifetime Distinguished Professor and Dean at the college of Humanities and Creativities, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, Taichung
Professor Wen-Pei Sung is a Lifetime Distinguished Professor and Vice President for Student Affairs at National Chin-Yi University of Technology. His expertise lies in environmental monitoring, green technology integration, and carbon footprint assessment, where he has made substantial contributions to research and practical applications. He is also actively engaged in public service, serving on various government committees and as a Chief Consulting Engineer for enterprises in Henan Province.
Professor Sung holds a Master’s degree from North Carolina State University and a Ph.D. from National Chung Hsing University. He is a Fellow of several prestigious international engineering organizations, including the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and is a licensed structural engineer in Taiwan.
His contributions have been widely applied in fields such as green building, environmental sustainability, and vibration isolation technology, playing a pivotal role in advancing both academic research and industrial innovation.



Johnston HC Wong, Professor of Department of Social Science, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, BNU-HKBU United International College
Johnston is currently Professor in Applied Psychology and Head, Master of Social Work Program in Mental Health, at the BNU-HKBU United International College, Zhuhai, China. After studying Sociology in the Brock University of Canada, he started his career in social work and social management in Hong Kong. He acquired extensive experience in applying case, group, and community approaches to youth work, family life education, school social work, civic education, and health education. He has taught at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels and assumed leadership roles in school administration and healthcare management. Major areas of his research are disaster services, post-trumatic stress, mental health among young people, and healthy cities and health promoting campuses. During COVID-19 Pandemic he has studied many social and psychological aspects of the public health crisis including digital crisis intervention and psycholigical counseling. He is the Chair of the International Committee of the Social Workers across Borders (SWAB). SWAB is an NGO registered in Hong Kong focusing on disaster social work and crisis interventions. Since 2006, he resided and taught social work and social administration in Zhuhai, China. His teachings concern mainly with socio-medical and socio-legal issues.

Kwok Yuen Fan, Assistant Professor at Beijing Normal University - Hong Kong Baptist University United International College
Reviewer for SSCI international journals such as World Development and Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing.
In August 2023, obtained a Ph.D. degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Engaged in research work in real estate finance, sustainable development, corporate finance, political economy, and other fields. In September 2018, obtained a master's degree from Lancaster University. In August 2012, obtained a bachelor's degree from The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong.
His academic papers are mainly published in SSCI journals such as The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics and Journal of Real Estate Research. He has won the best paper award at conferences such as the 2023 China Real Estate Academic Annual Conference and the 16th Professional Symposium for University Real Estate Scholars.

Pranav Nerurkar, PhD and Director of Utkarsh Minds, India.
Pranav Nerurkar, PhD and Director of Utkarsh Minds India. He is an experienced AI Engineer and academic with a diverse background in data science and machine learning. He has worked as an AI Engineer at Igonogo France (2023) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of South Brittany, France (2021-2023). He currently serves as a visiting Assistant Professor at NMIMS University (2019-present) and SPIT Andheri (2024-present) and is a faculty member for data science at both Meritorium Academy (2018-present) and Utkarsh Minds Institute (2024-present). Pranav holds a B.E. in Information Technology from SPIT Andheri, an M.E. in Computer Engineering from TSEC, and a PhD in Computer Engineering from VJTI Mumbai. He has published 34 research papers, with 604 citations, an H-index of 13, and an i10-index of 15. His research focuses on machine learning, deep learning, image processing, and prompt engineering. He also holds 62 certifications in various fields, including Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning Engineering, and Materials Science.


Tarjei Brekke, PhD student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway.
Tarjei Brekke is a PhD student in Science and Technology Studies (STS) at the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He has a background from China studies at the Department of Culture Studies and Oriental Languages at the University of Oslo. His PhD thesis explores the co-creation of demand for Atlantic salmon in the JiangZheHu-area of China.
